Hillboyz Wing and Burger Bar

I can’t wait to return! The food was EXCELLENT! I had the Cajun Chicken Pasta. It was so creamy and the chicken was plentiful! Amazing dish! It came with the perfect Italian roll! I also ordered a loaded fry. The seasoning on the fries was a perfect combination with the bacon, cheese sauce and chives. They were cooked perfectly and didn’t get soggy! Crisp to the last bite. My bf ordered the chicken burger. I didn’t taste it but he went on and on about how great it was and I certainly believed him because mine was anything less than perfection! We also purchased 2 large drinks and the cups were extra large and we were allowed refills. Our total was 35.00 and let me tell you this is the first time in a long time that I didn’t feel as if I over paid for food! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend you go too!!!

This family owned restaurant is fabulous! Great food, friendly fast service. They were vandalized a few weeks back so there's still some plywood on the front. Great comfort food with an emphasis on flavor.....seasoned for cultured pallets. Clean, clean, clean. Show them love they deserve it!

Great tasting food, Fast service and always satisfying

The cheese burger was really good. The customer service was great. I called in my order around lunch time & it was ready when they said it would be. They take it a step further & call you to let you know your order is ready! Oh & that purple punch (so not the name) was just like good ole fashioned Grape Kool-aid... so good!I will definitely go back and try something else!

First time visitor from Texas. Clean in and outside of restaurant. Young lady talking order was great . Ordered fish and shrimp platter with two sides. Only problems I have was shrimp was overcook . Okra was also. But kool-aid was awesome.. will give them a 7 out of ten.

I went today around lunch time & was really happy with the customer service I received and the food I ate!I'm new to Memphis, but heard what happened to this business and wanted to support plus I'm on the search for some good catfish. I was told that I could only get good catfish from Mississippi by a Memphis native, but I'm glad they were wrong because this place nailed it Dana who checked me out was patient and calm during the rush and remembered my water bottle because I almost forgot it.I also went anticipating a long wait, but I got my lunch in 15 minutes.Great playlist Keep grinding & putting your best efforts forward, it'll get better

Found out about the Hillboyz Wing and Burger Bar on channel 3 news, because someone broke the windows out for a second time at their business and they also broke their business van window and we just wanted to show the owners some Memphis community love and support. The service was great, the young people at the front counter was so professional and friendly. The restaurant was cozy and clean and just a great overall atmosphere. I ordered the Memphian Burger, combo and it was good and juicy and my hubby ordered the Catfish dinner and he said the fish was so good and seasoned that he didn't have add any hot sauce to it. Unfortunately, we were so hungry we totally forgot to take pictures of our food, but one thing I can tell you our plates were empty because that is just how good the food was. We wish this business even greater success!!! And we will definitely be back.

Boom!!! Talk about full success here people! This place is a special little gem. It came recommended by some friends a few weeks ago. Big Herb has since began eating lunch here regularly. You have to start off with the Signature burger. First impressions you ask? Well, do you love food that has nothing but pure love poured into it? I had the Signature burger first and it about slapped my face off with the flavor profiles! The prices aren't the cheapest but here you don't care about prices. You get love here. You can tell the kitchen cares and is proud of what they do. I've also had the surf & turf burger, fish & shrimp manager special, and shrimp & broccoli pasta. Everything I've had is wonderful. The mistress gets the double cheeseburger or the chicken strips. She's picky and she loves this joint. Big Herb is of the Caucasian variety but specifically hunts down the black-owned restaurants for their intense food love & kitchen skills. Memphis has some great ones and this one is on top. Big Herb loves soul food by the way (coupled with the blues). The atmosphere is nice too. Always some music or TV going. There's a blend of all kinds of people that come here and it warms Big Herb's heart seeing everyone coming together for a wonderful food experience! Keep up the good work here folks! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
